SFO is seeking a crop production agronomist (or equivalent) with experience from the agricultural sector. The role involves knowledge dissemination, member contact, and monitoring of the external environment. You will be part of a small organization with short decision-making paths and responsible for conveying crop production knowledge, focusing on SFO's crops such as oilseeds and seeds to members and partners.

About the role:

In this role, you will combine your agronomic expertise with communication, member contact, and environmental monitoring. You will work closely with management and become an important link between farmers, authorities, research, and international contacts. The work is varied and independent – one day you will convey new knowledge from field trials or international networks, the next day you will drive content for the website, magazine, or member activities.

Responsibilities

• Convey and package knowledge about crop production to members and external stakeholders

• Participate in member care and relationship building within the industry

• Coordinate content and ideas with colleagues and external writers

• Participate in the development of working methods and new initiatives in crop production

Qualifications

• Relevant higher education as an agronomist or equivalent

• Several years of work experience in the agricultural sector

• Good knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• Interest and experience in digital content and web (e.g., WordPress)

• Good language skills in Swedish and English
